Pumpkin Patch Part II

On our outing to the pumpkin patch I took so many photos that I couldn’t possibly fit it all into one blog post! This one is dedicated to the flower portion of the pumpkin patch. This particular patch, located on Sauvie Island in Portland, Oregon, is not only a pumpkin patch, but a vegetable and cut flower farm as well. They had some amazing dahlias, zinnias and marigolds that I couldn’t stop taking pictures.

They’re here!

We went to the Vancouver (WA) farmer’s market today and it was amazing as usual. There are tons of venders, maybe even more than the Portland. From the second you walk in the smell of fabulous food, fresh produce and flowers fills your senses and primes you for spending. I swear I spend more at the farmer’s market than I intend to, but it all looks so good!

Anyway we started our perusing when I smelled and spied Oregon Strawberries. I was beyond delighted. As my favorite fruit, I wait every year for the Oregon strawberries and I am so excited that they are finally here! Of course we bought half a flat and I immediately tore into them and they did not disappoint. The soft, juicy, and oh-so-sweet berries were perfect.
